# Hello Elementor Child Theme - Feature Additions

### This is a child theme for the Hello Elementor Wordpress theme. Dowload the official theme from the WordPress repository before installing the release here. The child theme will be released at some point in the near future.

Tested with Hello Elementor Theme Version: 3.4.6

Install the official Hello Elementor theme for WordPress from the theme repository before installing the child theme by downloading the hello-elementor theme folder and placing it in /wp-content/themes/. Once the main Hello Elementor theme is installed, install this child theme for it by adding the hello-elementor-child theme folder to the root /themes/ directory for your Wordpress installation in /wp-content/themes/. Once the child theme is placed in the theme directory, activate it in your Wordpress admin in the Appearance > Themes section. On first activation it'll create all of the necessary pages, but beyond the first activation if you ever have to reactivate it for any reason it'll ask if you want to create the pages in an admin notice post activation. A navigation is created on activation to get you started and provide you with some sources. You can switch back to your own in the menu locations under Appearance > Menus.
